“If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” – Dr. Wayne Dyer
I could highly recommend you adopting this principle to your life. Why? Change. That’s why. Your change. This is a catalyst that will bring about positive changes to your life.
I love the below video where Dr. Wayne Dyer speaks about this! Very funny but thought provoking. Please watch it, it will bring a smile to your face.
Okay, now let us delve into this – Change the way you look at things
- When you change the way you see the world, when your intentions are positive and powerful, when you search only for the good, then you life transforms into the amazing adventure it was designed to be.
- After all, anything and everything in life is all up to interpretation. In other words, there is no such thing as reality, you create your own reality with the thoughts you think.
- This is extremely significant because it unblocks any door in the world. To be able to have that perspective, that understanding, that you are the one in control. Knowing that will undoubtedly take you places.
- The above points are copied from an article. (www.fearlessmotivation.com) I thought that it was best to quote the source as it is well written. No point in re-writing what I feel hits the nail on the head.
So where to start. Always start with the small things, they snowball into bigger changes.
Start with the people you interact with. If your friends are negative people, appreciate them for who they are and the lessons that they have taught you. Now start surrounding yourself with positive happy people. People that see life differently. People that are happy to help you bring the positive into your life. Generally these type of people are not looking for anything in return unlike negative people. They are more giving and want to see others succeed in their lives.
Negative thoughts will creep in. Each time you have a negative thought, associate a positive memory with that. Slowly you will change your mindset. You could definitely use a positive mantra if you do not have a positive memory. Why I would always opt for a memory is that is something that is concrete inside of you and makes you happy. It is much easier growing from something positive that has already resonated with your core self.
