So why does crying not feature in a Google Search on the definition of happiness. We cry for many a reason, some of them for happiness and others when we kick our small toe on a well placed item of furniture. Happiness has found its way into the land of emojis such as (cwl.)
The measuring stick for happiness really does depend on a person and the uniqueness of said person. Some people find happiness in uncouth humour and others take offence. We cry with laughter and laugh from pain. No one said this human thing was going to be a walk in the park!
Happiness and Memes
So happiness as a subject matter for memes? Search google for Happiness Memes. As one would expect, it’s littered with humour. Not fluffy bunnies and magical rainbows. Happiness is temporary but one would certainly hope for more happiness than sadness or hurt. We each have our comforts which tends to spark our neurons of happiness.
In parting
Happiness as per Wikipedia from the view point of psychology – “In psychology, happiness is a mental or emotional state of well-being which can be defined by, among others, positive or pleasant emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy.[6] Since the turn of the millennium, psychologists have increasingly become interested in developing an approach to human flourishing.”
We are who we are. One should never measure their happiness based on another persons. Be your own unique self and find happiness there. Once that has been achieved it is amazing how our viewpoints change, or likes and dislikes.
