So, today’s topic revolves around human interactions. Change your approach when dealing with others. We get stuck in a daily routine. “Hi, hello. How are you?” To which the response is, “I am fine thanks, and you?” This is where I press the pause button on this automated dialect. Hogwash, nonsense and bullsh… are all words…

Time heals almost everything

Time heals almost everything, give time the time it needs! All to often we expect to bounce back from hardships way too quickly. We do not allow ourselves enough time to heal. Many of us are too critical and way to quick to judge, especially when we look at ourselves.

Important to Reflect

Why it is important to reflect in one’s life

There is huge importance in reflecting in one’s life. Sometimes we get so caught up in the everyday, which very quickly turns into months only for another year to have passed. We loose track of time and our accomplishments. Reflecting allows us to gauge progress, our progress. Thus it is important to reflect! I once…

It drops for about 10 seconds… Obviously I’m kidding….  GET PRANKED…. I come from a third-world country where we pay for third world…

Don’t Quit! Human beings are incredibly adaptive

Don’t Quit! Human beings are incredibly adaptive. After all, there is a reason we’re at the top of the food chain. The saying “Rome wasn’t built in a day” seems fitting. Sometimes it’s about envisioning the result, instead of focussing on what’s being faced at present. Keep your head down, keep pushing, and never stop fighting. Just remember, nothing will ever be worth it if everything was easy.

Insomniacs

Insomniacs – To sleep or not to sleep!

Attention Insomniacs! Think of it this way… The benefits of not being able to sleep are: NOTHING! Sleep is the cornerstone of sanity. When we lack it, we suck… And without it, we die. But, as with any other sucky things, it’s always best to laugh at it. Because laughter is the quickest and easiest way to gain power over something. So, have a laugh, and laugh a little more. And we…

Pens cannot win battles, and swords cannot write poetry. The pen isn’t mightier than the sword. There is absolutely nothing wrong with having both tools in your arsenal, as long as you know when and how to use them. That comes with wisdom, and wisdom comes with your own experience and learning from others. When these tools are used to their full potential, they change worlds.

What is Life?

Life: Definition as per Google – “The condition that distinguishes animals and plants from inorganic matter, including the capacity for growth, reproduction, functional activity, and continual change preceding death.

That just sounds down right boring, let’s see what Urban Dictionary has to say about Life – “The most unfair thing about life is the way it ends. I mean, life is tough. It takes up a lot of your time. What do you get at the end of it? A death! What’s that, a bonus?!? I think the life cycle is all backwards.

You should die first, get it out of the way. Then you go live in an old age home. You get kicked out for being too healthy, go collect your pension, then, when you start work, you get a gold watch on your first day. You work forty years until you’re young enough to enjoy your retirement. You drink alcohol, you party, and you get ready for High School. You go to primary school, you become a kid, you play, you have no responsibilities, you become a little boy(girl), you go back, you spend your last 9 months floating with luxuries like central heating, spa, room service on tap, then you finish off as an orgasm!!

WAHAHAHAHA! Now that’s more like it 🙂

No matter how you look at it, you are not getting out of here alive. Life is meant to be lived. Experience what you can and create! Be present in the now instead of living in the past or future.

Life is meant to be lived

Yes, we agree, this is stating the obvious. However, what we would like you to weigh up here is that the obvious needs to be stated every now and then. As people, we get caught up in the mundane and the cycle of repetition. As a result, some find comfort in that, this is their choice and to be respected.

It certainly takes its toll. As we rotate around the sun year after year we often wonder why? What for? Some people go on a journey to find themselves. Others choose to numb the pain or fly the high. Everything has and end to it, a stark realisation when that thought hits home!

We do have the means to change outcomes and it starts with our understanding. Those looking to mix things up, we urge you to read, grow from that. Question and then question again. If you are unhappy due to your circumstances, change it. Sometimes one needs to be brash and bold when it comes to your own life. Any excuse one makes is based on fear. Fear generally leads to stagnation in some form. Best to be at peace where it allows and expand your mind and create. Hence we state the obvious. Live your life!
