What is Yin and Yang?
Well, simply put. What goes up must come down. Yin and Yang is the universal measuring stick of balance. Our balance. Often we feel extremely unhappy or conversely, overjoyed.
As humans we need a measuring stick. This measuring stick is what we use to balance our lives, or at times, beat people (joking of course!) But man, how good would it be to put someone in their place with the universal measuring stick of life.
Yin and Yang has a far greater purpose and I would encourage you to read up on it if you are not aware of it.
The below is copied from “https://www.ancient.eu/”
” The principle of Yin and Yang is that all things exist as inseparable and contradictory opposites, for example, female-male, dark-light and old-young.” by Mark Cartwright
I would recommend reading up on the article Mark wrote and do your own research.
There are many parts of this principle that you can adopt in your own life. Use it to find meaning, purpose. Use it to balance your life. If you are finding that you have been walking on the side of unhappiness for too long, then do something about it. Find the joy in today. Not tomorrow or longingly look for it in the past.
All that one really has to do to start creating a balance is to show up and be present in your own life. Life is about creation. If you don’t like something, re-create it. I know, not as easy at times based on our circumstances, but at least make a start.
Yin and Yang should not be confused with the word opposite. Rather look at both parts been an equal half of a whole. Together they create a whole. Together they create a happier you.
